Poe.ninja features a filterable repository of builds which can be used to see meta trends and gain inspiration for build ideas. It can also be used to quickly generate a publicly sharable link for others to view your character info. # Authorizing your Account Head over to the main site: [poe.ninja](https://poe.ninja/) On the home page, find and click "Log In" in the top right: ![[chrome_8O8xOUUwOY.png]] poe.ninja will ask for permission to authenticate with the Path of Exile API. This is Grinding Gear Games' officially provided method to share character data. It only provides read-only access to your characters. It does *not* allow anyone to modify your data or characters. Click on "Connect". You will be redirected to the pathofexile.com site. ![[Pasted image 20260328151902.png]] If you are not currently signed into your PoE account, you will be asked to sign in. Once signed in, pathofexile.com will ask you to authorize poe.ninja to access your data. Do this now. ![[Pasted image 20260328152808.png|380]] # Syncing Your Characters After authorizing, you'll be sent back to poe.ninja. The profile icon in the top right is now a drop down menu. In this menu, select "Characters" for either PoE 1 or PoE 2. ![[chrome_EUPpYQ3lpo.png]] You will now see your character profile page. If this is empty, click on "Refresh character list" to force an account sync which will populate a list of all characters you have created during this league. On this page you can see all of the data for your character. **Copy the URL from your browser or use the "Share Link" button to generate a link you can share with others.** ![[Pasted image 20260328153714.png]] # FAQ ### Nobody else can see my characters when I send the link This means your profile has been set to hidden. If this happens navigate to [poe.ninja/account/settings](https://poe.ninja/account/settings) On this page, look for your Character Profiles section and click on "Make Profile Public".
